About Us

Community for Youth (CfY) is a youth-mentoring organization based out of South Seattle. We connect high school students with compatible adult mentors. Our mission is to inspire and support students to be their best selves through mentoring, learning experiences, and a powerful community. 

Over the last 40+ years, CfY has developed a unique mentoring model that goes beyond a traditional one-to-one relationship. CfY builds a community through multi-level supports for both students and mentors, which create opportunities for consistent connection in a safe, supportive environment. When you support Community for Youth, you support student-centered mentoring services that promote positive community change and help youth realize their full potential.
